Forklift Fuel Regulators - Where automatic control is concerned, a regulator is a tool which functions by maintaining a particular characteristic. It performs the activity of maintaining or managing a range of values in a machine. The measurable property of a tool is closely handled by an advanced set value or particular conditions. The measurable property can even be a variable according to a predetermined arrangement scheme. Generally, it can be used in order to connote whatever set of different controls or tools for regulating stuff.

Some examples of regulators include a voltage regulator, that could be an electric circuit that produces a defined voltage or a transformer whose voltage ratio of transformation could be tweaked. Another example is a fuel regulator which controls the supply of fuel. A pressure regulator as seen in a diving regulator is yet one more example. A diving regulator maintains its output at a fixed pressure lower than its input.

From gases or fluids to electricity or light, regulators could be intended so as to control different substances. The speeds could be regulated either by electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical means. Mechanical systems for example, such as valves are normally used in fluid control systems. The Watt centrifugal governor is a purely mechanical pre-automotive system. Modern mechanical systems can incorporate electronic fluid sensing parts directing solenoids so as to set the valve of the desired rate.

The speed control systems that are electro-mechanical are rather complex. Used in order to maintain and control speeds in newer vehicles (cruise control), they often consist of hydraulic components. Electronic regulators, nevertheless, are utilized in modern railway sets where the voltage is raised or lowered so as to control the engine speed.
