Used Forklift Parts - In due course, forklift components will wear and have to be replaced. Buying new components could become a costly venture so one more idea is to obtain used lift truck components. This can save much money in the end. The engines are hot tested after reassembly to ensure that there are no oil pressure problems, no leaks, noises or any vacuum.
Transmissions are another item that is oven cleaned after being disassembled. The transmission is then pressure washed. A thorough inspection is done to check for any cracks. Bearings, bushings and seals are all replaced. Typically, the replacement parts utilized on transmission components meet OEM specifications.
A few components like torque converters, the alternator, the water pump, the starter and steer axles can get longer serviceability after being remanufactured and having all wearable components replaced. The electronic control in the electric lift truck is maintained by the control card. This card could even be remanufactured with replacing all aged and worn out components. Not like various forklift components the control card could only have the worn and aged parts replaced.
Components that are remanufactured have to be comprehensively checked upon reassembly to ensure they are in good condition before being sold.
